Strangers, in someone’s home.

A booking puts two people who have never met in a room together, often at someone’s most personal moments. These rules exist so that stays safe. They apply to everyone, and we enforce them.

Effective
Applies to
Everyone on LumiQ

1. Treat people properly

  • No harassment, threats, intimidation or stalking — in messages, on a shoot, in reviews, or in reel comments.
  • No discrimination or abuse based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age or any other protected characteristic. Declining or cancelling a booking for any of these reasons is grounds for immediate removal.
  • No unwanted sexual attention, comments about someone’s body, or requests for a date on a booking. A booking is a job.
  • No contacting someone outside LumiQ after they have asked you to stop.

2. Keep shoots safe

  • The location must be safe and lawful to work in. Creators can leave a booking where they reasonably feel unsafe, and are paid for it.
  • Nobody should be impaired on a booking.
  • No weapons on a shoot unless it is the declared subject and everyone has agreed in advance.
  • Tell the other side who will be present. A creator arriving to a house full of people they were not told about is entitled to leave.
  • If a shoot involves children, the responsible adult stays present throughout.

3. What must never be booked or posted

  • Sexual or nude content of any kind. LumiQ does not host it and does not broker it.
  • Anything involving a minor in a sexual or exploitative way. We report this to law enforcement without warning and without exception.
  • Content that promotes violence, terrorism, self-harm or a hate group.
  • Anything unlawful — including using a shoot as cover for casing a property.
  • Content of someone recognisable who has not consented to it being published.

4. Be honest

  • Creators: your portfolio has to be your own work. Passing off someone else’s photographs is fraud, and we tell the customers who booked you because of it.
  • One account per person per role. No shared accounts, no accounts run on someone else’s behalf, no coming back under a new email after removal.
  • No fake reviews — not for yourself, not against a competitor, not traded with another creator.
  • No manipulating the reels feed with engagement rings or coordinated reporting.
  • Do not take a relationship that started on LumiQ off the platform to avoid fees. It strips the protection from both sides.

5. Money and payment

  • Pay through LumiQ. A creator asking for cash, a bank transfer or a payment link is a red flag — report it.
  • No chargebacks for work you received. Raise a dispute with us first; that is what the trust fee pays for.
  • No using a payment method that is not yours.

6. How to report something

Every reel, review and profile has a report control, and every booking page has one. For anything involving harm, harassment or safety, use the safety report — it goes to a person, not a queue of automated checks.

  • The person you report is never told who reported them.
  • We look at every safety report. Serious ones are actioned within 24 hours.
  • Reporting in bad faith — to damage a competitor, or to get out of paying — is itself a violation.
  • If you are in immediate danger, call your local emergency number first. Then tell us at safety@lumiqapp.com.

7. What we do about it

What happenedWhat we do
A first, minor breachA warning, and the content comes down
Repeated breachesReduced matching, loss of featured placement, or suspension
Harassment, discrimination, fraud or portfolio theftAccount closed, and any money owed back recovered
Violence, threats, sexual content involving a minor, or a credible safety riskImmediate removal and, where the law requires or the risk warrants it, a report to law enforcement
  • Where we can tell you what you were removed for, we will, and you can reply to safety@lumiqapp.com.
  • Removal never takes money you genuinely earned on completed work.
  • We keep safety records for seven years, because a pattern of harm is only visible over time.

8. If something happened to you

Tell us, even if you are not sure it is worth reporting, and even if it happened weeks ago. You do not need proof to make a report — that is our job.

You will not lose access to your account for reporting someone, you will not be asked to keep working with them, and we will not put you in a room with them again.
